Lost At Sea

Beatriz Chung is a Peruvian scenic designer and illustrator who received her bachelor’s degree in sculpture from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. She has fourteen years of experience working with different theatre companies in Peru and Chile as a set designer, puppet designer and prop maker. She is currently working towards her MFA in scenic design at The Pennsylvania State University, where in 2021 designed Midsummer's Night's Dream directed by Sam Osheroff at the Pavillion Theatre, and currently is in the production of Brigadoon, directed by Jen Delac at the Playhouse Theatre. She is always excited to collaborate in new ways to generate content around what we do as theatre makers and expand the ways to communicate and show the process behind the curtains. Beatriz Chung

Melissa Yanchak (she/her/hers) is a faculty music director for Penn State University's School of Theatre in the Musical Theatre Program. Prior to joining Penn State, Melissa served Wright State University (OH) as a music director/vocal coach and toured nationally as a music director/conductor Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella and as the last Keyboard 1/SFX player on the Blue Unit of Ringling Bros, traveling and living on the legendary circus train across the United States. Regional credits include Pittsburgh CLO (PA), Tuacahn Center for the Arts (UT), Interlochen Center for the Arts (MI), Vegas Theatre Company (NV), Summer Stock Austin (TX), and Florida Studio Theatre (Sarasota). Melissa can also be seen on PBS’s Broadway or Bust series as a member of the creative team for the Jimmy Awards (NY).
