Frederick D. Miller

Frederick D. Miller (he/him) is a fourth year at Penn State University, where he will be graduating in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and Comparative Literature. He is a dramaturg and theatre historian, specializing in the 20th and 21st century American Musical Theatre. His first publication, "Dear Evan Hansen: The Social Media Musical", appears in Fifty Key Stage Musicals, forthcoming from Routledge. This past fall, Frederick's play Headspace received its world premiere at Penn State and was an invited production for the National Playwriting Program with KC/ACTF Region II.



 
 

Leah Mullen

Leah Mullen is a composer, vocalist, and Schreyer Honors Scholar pursuing a BM in music composition, minor in German, and diversity studies certificate at Penn State, where she studies with Dr. Baljinder Sekhon and Dr. Steven Rice. Leah has experience writing for a variety of instrumentations, including electronics. Her compositions currently address a range of sociopolitical topics. Leah’s works have been performed across the United States and Europe, and she has attended a variety of new music festivals. Leah is the current President and former Vice President of Living Music, a new music club at Penn State.

Troy Hourie

Troy is a scenographer and installation artist. Scenographer for 350+ productions for various off-Broadway, regional and opera companies across the USA, Canada and internationally; including Glimmerglass Festival, The New Victory, New York Theatre Workshop, Cherry Lane Theatre, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Guthrie, The Huntington, Studio Theatre, Court Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Classical Theatre of Harlem and American Vicarious. Installations include: Escape to Beira, ARTErra Portugal, Apparitions Attic, Arteles Finland, Static Apnea, Performance Arcade, NZ and Static Apnea and Positive/Negative Liberty at the American Vicarious at the Invisible Dog, Brooklyn, NY. Art commissions: The Wisdom Tree, Glimmerglass Festival and Espreitar Tondela, ARTErra, Tondela, Portugal. Highlights: Freaks | A Performative Installation at Ei! Marionetas, Porto Portugal. Apparitions, Aurora Cultural Centre direction and digital scenography for Glass’ The Fall of the House of Usher, Mannes, NYC.
